VIKING BAGS AXE HARD SADDLEBAGS MOUNTING INSTRUCTION:
Step: 1 Attach the metal brackets to the side railing of the rear fender. You might need to get the longer bolts to do this.
Step: 2 Place the saddlebag against the mounting brackets over a spacer. (Minimum distance from the tail pipe 1”)
Step: 3 Use a marker pen to mark the locations of the mounting holes at the back on the saddlebags. (Tip: Mark through one of the holes on the brackets to the back of the saddlebags, and remember which hole on the mounting bracket)
Step: 4 Place the saddlebags on the floor and drill two 14mm (1/2”) holes on the location of where you previously marked.
Step: 5 Place the rubber gourmets, metal sleeves into the holes. Then attach the metal brackets to the back of the saddlebags with the provided metal bolts. (Use the same hole on the brackets which you previously marked and place the metal washer on each side of the rubber gourmets before attach the metal brackets). Tighten the metal bolts from inside of the saddlebags.
Step: 6 Hold the saddlebag with the mounting brackets and re-attach them to the fender rails. Tighten the bolts.
Step: 7 Hook up the saddlebag light to the turn signal wiring on your motorcycle. Brown wire is positive, Green is negative.
Step: 8 You are done. Take it out for a spin and Ride safe.
