Motorcycle Saddlebags & Luggage Fitment Questions

Will the bag I like fit my bike?
Most Bags are motorcycle specific and they should fit your bike perfectly well. They should not need any turn signal relocation kit or mounting hardware beside 4 bolts in most cases.

For universal bags use the following:
After viewing all of our styles, shapes and sizes pick the bag that you like and then click into our Installation page. Check the measurements listed for the bags that you want. Use a ruler on your own motorcycle to make sure it will fit. Every bike is different; use our Mounting Instructions and Support Chart at www.vikingbags.com as a reference guide only.

Will your bags fit over my seat or can I hard mount them to my bike?
All of our bags are designed to be mounted over or under the seat. Our bags can also be used with quick release and hard mount products like Easy Brackets, www.easybrackets.com, and our Hard-Mount Kit.

Methods of Order
You can order by phone or online using visa, MasterCard, pay pal or Google check out.

What is the status of my order?
To check the status of an order that you have already placed, please click on the Order Status link on the home page of Viking Bags.

How do I make a change to my order or cancel an order/item?
To ensure order changes or cancellations are implemented before your order is shipped, it is imperative that you call Vikingbags.com as soon as possible.

What do I do if my order did not arrive?

  1. Make sure you have tracked your package and it is showing as being delivered.
  2. Look around your house to see if the delivery driver placed your package on the porch, at another door or delivered the package to someone else in your home that inadvertently forgot to tell you that your package arrived.
  3. Check neighbors to see if they have received your package and are holding it for you.
  4. Call UPS or DHL at 1-800-PICK-UPS or 1-800-CALL-DHL (1-800-225-5345) respectively. If you were not home and a signature is required on your package, then the driver may have left a note with instructions.
  5. Email our Customer Care Department for further assistance at sales@vikingbags.com

 

Payments & Billing

What forms of payment do you accept?
Viking Bags accepts Master Card, Visa, Pay pal and Google check out. All orders must be paid for in U.S. funds only.

When will my credit appear on my account after a return?
Your credit card will be credited within 1 to 2 business days following the day we receive the returned item(s).

How do I get a copy of my invoice?
All customers can access any order placed with Vikingbags.com in the "My Account" section of Vikingbags.com. If you login to your customer account and view your order history, you will be able to view and print all orders you have made with us. If you need any assistance accessing your account, please email our Customer Support Department

I have a question about charges on my credit card?
If you have any questions about charges on your credit card, please contact us directly.

 

Returns

What is your return policy?
You may return most merchandise within 15 days of the original invoice date. Orders that are older then 15 days may not be returned. All returned merchandise must be unused. In case you mount the bags on the motorcycle and do not like how they fit we highly recommend you to take them off immediately in order to prevent any damage to them that may cause Viking Bags not being able to return them.

Incomplete returns will be subject to additional charges at our discretion.
Inspect your products immediately upon receipt. No returns or exchanges will be accepted after 15 days from the date on the invoice. Shipping charges are not refundable. If multiple items are purchased with a discount or sale promotion, any items returned are subject to credit minus the original discount value on items not returned.

When returning items, use a traceable carrier (UPS, FedEx, etc.), insure the package, and retain the tracking information for your protection. VIKING BAGS is not responsible for any missing, lost, or damaged package. Return shipping fees are not refundable.

Any item that is returned and does not meet these criteria will be sent back to the customer. Packages refused will be subject to a 50% restocking fee minus all shipping charges.

I received the wrong item, what do I do?
Please email our Customer Care Department to report shipping errors within 3 days of package receipt. Everyone at Viking Bags works hard to ensure order accuracy, but we are all human and mistakes do happen. We will ship out the correct item upon receipt of the item you are returning. We will ship the item via ground back out to you.

How do I exchange a product?
If you would like to exchange a product you have received for a different product or products, please email our Customer Care Department.

 

Shipping

Where is my order shipped to?
To avoid fraudulent charges the order will be shipped to the billing address unless otherwise notified by the purchaser. Address must also be authorized on Credit Card.

Can I track my order?
To check the status of an order that you have already placed, please click on the Order Status link on the home page of Vikingbags.com. You will need to enter in your order number (sent to you after placing an order) as well as your email address.

How much is shipping?
We charge standard $30 for shipping.

I upgraded my shipping. Why isn't it here yet?
UPS is vikingbags.com preferred Domestic and International carrier. During checkout please fill in all required fields and verify that your address is correct. UPS will only ship on business days (Monday - Friday). Keep in mind that 2-day service shipped Thursday will arrive Monday. A list of holidays on which UPS will not ship can be found on www.ups.com. UPS shipping charges may vary from published rates due to handling charges incorporated into the shipping cost. The standard UPS shipping services are as follows:

All shipping estimates are calculated from the original shipping date and not the date your order was placed.

UPS Ground is the standard domestic shipping service to the 48 contiguous states. Estimate delivery times using 91770 Zip Code as the package origin. ESTIMATED arrival in the Eastern U.S. is 5-6 business days. The Midwest U.S. ESTIMATED arrival time is 3-4 business days. ESTIMATED arrival time in the Western U.S. can expect arrival in 1-2 business days.

Orders upgraded to Three day, Two day or Overnight Shipping are USUALLY shipped the same day if received before 10PM Pacific Standard Time. Orders received after Noon PST may not be shipped until the following business day. Viking Bags business days are Monday thru Friday. Your guaranteed shipping time for upgraded shipping is calculated from the time your package leaves our warehouse. Therefore, ordering an item using Three Day Select on a Friday afternoon means your item will most likely be processed and shipped Monday, which should indicate a delivery time of that upcoming Thursday.

Viking Bags will not guarantee the delivery time of any order. Shipping costs will not be refunded for delayed deliveries. Deliveries can be delayed for any number of reasons. Most delays are due to weather conditions. Plan orders and choose payment options appropriately. Listed above are the standard recommended services. You may select any UPS shipping service that best suits your needs. Select the service that will ensure that you will receive the order at least 2 business days in advance to the needed time period.

A UPS tracking number will be sent to you via email once your order has been shipped.

I received someone else's order.
In the event that you receive someone else's order, please contact our Sales Department for a Return Authorization (RA) number to return the items. Please make sure not to open any items.

 

International Orders

Do you ship to APO, FPO addresses?
We ship to APO/FPO addresses via USPS. APO/FPO orders may require up to 14 business days to process and ship. Most shipments are delivered to APO/FPO destinations in 2 to 3 weeks.

Do you ship to Canada?
Yes, however the shipping cost may vary.

Do you ship to Europe?

Warranty Issues

General Warranty Information
Warranties for all products sold at Vikingbags.com vary product by product. Being the manufacturer of motorcycle saddlebags Viking bags has the absolute control over the quality. Please e mail us at sales@vikingbags.com to ask a warranty we offer for a particular product.

Do Motorcycle Saddlebags come with a warranty?
There is no warranty on Motorcycle Saddlebags. Vikingbags.com is not responsible for any damage that occurs during the shipment of Motorcycle saddlebags or luggage. All saddlebags or motorcycle luggage related items are carefully examined upon receipt in our warehouses and again before secure packaging takes place while filling your order. Be sure to thoroughly inspect all Saddlebags upon receipt of delivery. If there does appear to be damage to the Saddlebags you have the following option:
If the boxes appear to be damaged it should be mentioned to the delivery agent and noted upon receipt. If this is the case, please notify the agent and file a claim for the cost of the damaged products and shipping expenses incurred. Call UPS at 1-800-PICK-UPS. Save all packaging for carrier inspection.

My motorcycle luggage was received Damaged or does not work.
In the event you receive a broken or damaged item or the item proves to be defective out of the box, please email us after you receive the package at our Sales Department.

Whom should I contact for warranty repairs?
In case you need repair on you saddlebags please contact us. In most cases we will be able to take care of the problem for you.
